Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Tangential Labs LLC (“Tangential Labs,” “we,” “us”) collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Our apps will describe their own data practices when they launch.
Information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, plus basic, anonymous site analytics.
- Waitlist sign-ups. Your email address and, optionally, your name, whether you’d like to beta test, and any details you share about your setup.
- Contact form messages. Your name, email address, and the message you send.
- Site analytics. Aggregated page-view data, such as which pages are visited, the referring site, and general device and country information. Our analytics do not use cookies and do not identify you personally.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site.
How we use it
- To email you when an app you signed up for launches.
- To invite you to beta test, if you asked to be considered.
- To reply to messages you send us.
- To understand how the site is used and keep it running securely.
We won’t send you unrelated marketing, and we never sell or rent your information or share it for advertising.
Service providers
We use a small number of providers that process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services:
- Resend: stores waitlist contacts and delivers our emails.
- Vercel: hosts this website and provides privacy-friendly analytics.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist information until the related launch and beta are over, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. We keep contact form messages only as long as needed to respond and follow up.
Your choices and rights
- Every email we send includes a link to unsubscribe.
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time by emailing contact@tangential-labs.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, including California and the European Economic Area, you may have additional rights under local law, such as the right to object to processing or to complain to a data protection authority. Where those laws apply, we rely on your consent (given when you submit a form) to process your information, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Where your information is stored
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may store and process information in the United States and other countries.
Security
We use reputable providers and limit access to your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the effective date above. If a change materially affects how we use information you’ve already given us, we’ll let you know by email.
